Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 July 2026
These terms explain the deal between you and cropagora when you use our website and app. We have kept them short and in plain language. By using cropagora, you agree to them.
1. What cropagora is
cropagora is a service for Zambian farmers and the people who trade with them. We publish daily crop prices, offer planting and selling guidance, run a marketplace where you can buy and sell produce and livestock, and provide a basic crop and animal health check. We are an information and connection service. We do not buy, sell, or set the price of any crop ourselves.
2. About our price information
The prices on cropagora are a guide, not a guarantee. They are drawn from market reports, the Ministry of Agriculture bulletin, and the Food Reserve Agency floor price, and we label which source each figure comes from. Prices change constantly and vary by market, quality, quantity and timing. Always confirm the current price with your buyer before you sell. cropagora is not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on a price shown here.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information you give us and for keeping your password safe. Give accurate details, and keep them up to date. Do not share your account or let someone use it to pretend to be you. Tell us straight away if you think someone has gained access to your account. You must be old enough under Zambian law to enter a contract to use cropagora.
4. Buying and selling
When you post produce or livestock, or respond to a listing, any deal you make is directly between you and the other person. cropagora is not a party to it. We do not check, guarantee, or take responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of anything listed, or for whether anyone pays or shows up. Treat other users with respect, agree terms clearly, and do your own checks before you hand over goods or money.
5. Crop and animal health information
The crop and animal health check gives you a first idea of what might be wrong. It is informational only and can be incomplete or mistaken. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified agronomist or veterinarian. For anything serious or urgent, speak to a professional.
6. Acceptable use
Use cropagora honestly and lawfully. Do not post false prices or listings, sell anything you are not allowed to sell, defraud or harass other users, scrape or copy our data in bulk, or try to break, overload, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these rules.
7. Our content
The cropagora name, design, and the way we present and organise our price data belong to us. You are welcome to use the prices to make your own decisions and to share them with other farmers. You may not republish or resell our data as your own product, or copy it in bulk, without our permission.
8. Availability of the service
We work to keep cropagora running and our prices current, but we provide the service as it is, without any promise that it will always be available, complete, or free of errors. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service as the product grows.
9. Limits of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, cropagora is not liable for losses that come from using the service, from relying on a price or piece of guidance, or from any dealing between you and another user. Nothing in these terms removes a responsibility that cannot be removed under Zambian law.
10. Changes to these terms
As cropagora grows, we may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using cropagora after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, and any dispute about them falls under the Zambian courts.
